commentbro ("we", "us", or "our") provides a website and a Chrome extension that help you generate AI-powered LinkedIn comments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to https://commentbro.in, our APIs, and the commentbro Chrome extension.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use commentbro, we may collect:

• Account & identity:Name, email address, and profile details you provide when you register or sign in.
• Authentication data:Login credentials (such as email and password) and session tokens so you can stay signed in on the website and extension. We do not ask for or store your LinkedIn password.
• Website & LinkedIn content you submit:When you use the extension, we process LinkedIn post text and, if your plan allows, related media (such as image URLs) that you choose to send so we can generate a comment draft. We only process content needed for that request.
• Usage & subscription data:Comment generation counts, plan limits, billing status, and similar service usage needed to operate free and paid plans.
• Technical data:Basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps when you call our APIs, used for security, debugging, and reliability.

3. How we use information

We use your information only to provide and improve commentbro’s single purpose—helping you draft LinkedIn comments with AI—including to:

• Create and manage your account and keep you signed in

• Generate AI comments from the LinkedIn post content you submit

• Enforce plan limits, show usage, and process payments via our payment provider when you subscribe

• Provide customer support and important service notices

• Protect the service against abuse, fraud, and security incidents

4. Chrome extension

The commentbro Chrome extension runs on LinkedIn pages to add an “AI Comment” control, read the selected post content you choose to process, and send it to our servers (api.commentbro.in) to generate a draft. Locally, the extension may store your auth token and preferences (such as comment tone) in browser storage. The extension does not sell your data, does not track your general browsing history, and does not access LinkedIn account passwords.

5. Sharing with service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted processors only as needed to run the product—for example hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processing (such as Razorpay), and AI model providers that generate comment text from the content you submit. These providers are required to use the data for providing their services to us, not for unrelated purposes.

6. What we do not do

• We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial use outside approved service operations

• We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to commentbro’s single purpose of AI-assisted LinkedIn commenting

• We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending

7. Data retention

We retain account, usage, and generated-comment records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

9. Your choices

You can update account details in the product, sign out of the extension, uninstall the extension at any time, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to applicable law.

10. Children’s privacy

commentbro is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
